When did that movie come out?

Netflix Logo

I’ll tell you.  At least if it had a 2012 Netflix release date, that is.  This is where you will find release dates from the full year, plus pithy commentary and self-serving links to my own reviews.  You can find all the 2011 release dates here, 2013 here, and the mother lode of Netflix info and release dates for 2014 at Everything Netflix.  It’s an embarrassment of release date riches!  There’s a lot of instant streaming here, so have your Roku ready!

December 31st

Looper (sci-fi, Bruce Willis, Joseph Gordon-Levitt) – If Joseph G-L is in it, I’ll see it.  Even if it’s a time-travel mafia movie.

December 26th

Memorial Day (war drama, Jonathan Bennett, James Cromwell) – John Cromwell, James’ real-life son, also stars.  He has played his father before in A .45 at 50th, a documentary short he wrote and directed, about his father’s meeting with Black Panther member Elbert Howard.
