I don’t know what it is about this time of year, but there are lots and lots of movies to choose from, just mostly ones that suck. But there are a few gems in here if you dig hard! Let’s see what’s new:

I know I should want to see The Social Network. It’s a top Oscar contender, after all. But I just don’t – watching the already unlikable Jesse Eisenberg play an unlikable prick simply doesn’t trip my trigger. Or I could see an important social documentary like Waiting for Superman. But I’m already depressed by winter, I can’t handle bemoaning my childrens’ education at the same time. On the other hand, the undoubtedly crappy You Again is staying on my queue – I can’t help it, I must see Jamie Lee and Sigourney duke it out. Yep – I’m feeling lowbrow and loving it. Cookies and hot chocolate and a lousy rom/com, here I come!
