Reversing the usual trend of musicals being turned into movies, Spider-Man will be coming to Broadway. Marvel Studios is coordinating the as-of-yet untitled project, which will be helmed by stage/film director Julie Taymor; U2’s Bono and the Edge have agreed to do the music and lyrics. There’s no info on when the musical will premiere on Broadway, though a reading is planned for this summer. Bet many a comic book fan would love to be a fly on the wall for that.
