Steven Spielberg, Jeffrey Katzenberg and David Geffen are on the same page when it comes to movies, but presidential politics is a different story. Earlier this year, Katzenberg and Geffen declared their support for Barack Obama; today, Spielberg announced that he is endorsing Hillary Clinton instead.
“I’ve taken the time to familiarize myself with the impressive field of Democratic candidates,” Spielberg said, in a statement posted on Clinton’s campaign website, “and am convinced that Hillary Clinton is the most qualified candidate to lead us from her first day in the White House.”
Obama aides haven’t given up on Hollywood, however; if the reports out of LA are accurate, the senator already has Oprah in his corner.
