Director of "A Christmas Story" dies

Film director Bob Clark and his son were killed in a car accident yesterday in Pacific Palisades, Calif. According to police, a drunken driver was in the wrong lane and collided head-on with the director’s car, killing Clark, 67, and Ariel Hanrath-Clark, 22.

Clark worked in horror and thriller movies as well as the first two Porky’s movies and other comedies, but was best known for 1983’s A Christmas Story, which featured the unforgettable line “You’ll put your eye out!”
