ESPN’s Peter Gammons will be on the DL for a while after having surgery for a brain aneurysm this morning. The Boston Globe, which publishes a Sunday “baseball notes” column by Gammons, reports that he will probably be in intensive care for 10 to 12 days. I hope his recovery goes smoothly, for his sake as well as ESPN’s.
