"Easy Rider" Auction

Peter Fonda plans to auction off an American flag, a Rolex, and other items from the 1969 counterculture classic, Easy Rider. According to Doug Norwine, the director of music and entertainment memorabilia for the Heritage Auction Galleries in Dallas, Texas, Fonda “just decided it was time to share some of his treasures with collectors and fans.” The most expensive item at the October 6 sale? Possibly the flag from the back of Fonda’s jacket, which has been estimated at $50,000.
